VES is the only veterinary hospital in Singapore with an in-house Specialist Anaesthesiology department. Any patient requiring sedation or anaesthesia is overseen by our anaesthetist from pre-procedure preparation to recovery. Our anaesthetist collaborates with all specialist teams, especially surgery, to provide their expertise and ensure the anaesthetic for every patient is safe and optimised. This team-based approach means we often have a group of specialists offering their guidance for a single patient, vastly improving patient outcome.
